Stephanie Fitzpatrick

Stephanie is one of the co-owners of Beautiful Illusions Event Styling and Freemans Party Hire. She started the business with her partner Jodie 16 years ago and it has become Redland City, Queensland’s largest party hire and styling business.

In 2024 she married her husband Stephen after a 10 year engagement. She felt lucky to have helped in so many weddings that she could pull of her wedding with just 3 months planning from the setting of the date. She felt sorry for people who didn’t have that knowledge and wants to share that knowledge with anyone who would listen.

Ruth Ryan

Ruth is the owner of Ruth Ryan Photography. She started the business 17 years ago and has photographed around 220 weddings, 210 families, 350 corporate businesses and 170 events.

Ruth has been married for over 20 years. Photography was sort of something she just fell into. She knew she was creative and decided to study Floristry part time because who wouldn’t like working with pretty flowers all day. Then she took photos of her flowers for assessment and very quickly realised she enjoyed taking photos of the flowers more than actually making them! So making the plunge to buy her first camera and doing a few free shoots for her friends it became obvious that this is what she was meant to do with my life. Over her years she has picked up so many tips and tricks for weddings and is ready to share them with everyone!
